The purpose of this Web site is to support and sustain the NYC HHC Corporate-wide Research Initiative. This Web page will assist the Nursing Research Council (and other hospital staff) to set up and sustain Nursing Research services throughout HHC.

1. To provide a forum to foster cooperation.
2. To discuss common challenges and means of resolution.
3. To share information and experience.
4. To share best practices from administrative, financial and clinical domains.
5. To participate in/arrange for shared consulting and educational opportunities.
6. To promote, educate, and provide technical assistance to market HHC.
7. To promote and foster multidisciplinary, interdivisional, and culturally diverse approaches throughout HHC.
8. To prevent duplication of effort.
9. To create committee infrastructure, task forces and convene meetings to reach these goals.
10. Promote collaboration between academia and nursing practice.
